Why the OECD’s Work on Digital Policy Matters
The OECD’s work on digital helps shape and inform policies internationally to drive innovation and inclusive growth through the digital transition. The OECD addresses connectivity and infrastructure, data governance and privacy, digital security and safety, artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, and creates longstanding evidence-based recommendations and standards which are the reference for many legal frameworks. The OECD also serves as strategic advisor to the G7 and G20 and collaborates with the relevant UN bodies and initiatives such as UNESCO and the Internet Governance Forum (IGF).
