Benedikt Wiedenhofer

Benedikt Wiedenhofer oversees our policy initiatives related to investment, responsible business conduct, anti-corruption as well as development and emerging markets. Prior to joining Business at OECD, he worked for five years in the International Relations Department of BusinessEurope in Brussels. During his studies, Benedikt also completed internships in the secretariat of the European Parliament, the German embassy in Dublin, and the Siemens EU Government Affairs Office.
Benedikt holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations with a focus on Global Political Economy from the University of Technology Dresden and a Bachelor’s Degree in European Studies from the Catholic University of Eichstaett-Ingolstadt. He also spent a semester at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in Santiago de Chile and at Nantes University in France, respectively. Benedikt is fully fluent in German, English and French and has a good level of Spanish and Italian.
He joined Business at OECD in April 2023.

Tax Policy Consultant
Carmelia Estriplet joined Business at OECD in November of 2023, on secondment from PwC US Tax LLP. She contributes to the work of the Tax Committee, including the working groups on Global Mobility, Pillars One and Two, Tax and Digital, VAT, Tax and Development and Tax and the Environment.
Prior to joining Business at OECD, Carmelia worked as a senior manager in the international tax group in the New York Metro office for PwC US Tax LLP, providing tax consulting services to multinational corporations.
Carmelia received her LLM in Tax with a certificate in International Taxation from the Georgetown University Law Center, a juris doctor from Boston College School of Law and a bachelor’s of science in finance and international business from American University. She is a licensed attorney and a member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey bars.

He graduated from the University of Exeter in July 2022 with a degree in French and Politics, and he managed the Politics Society as President. He is also a qualified tennis coach.
Max joined Business at OECD in February 2023.

Maxime Ledieu
Policy Advisor
Maxime supports our policy work in the areas of trade and environment and contributes to member outreach and horizontal policy activities.
Prior to joining Business at OECD, Maxime gained professional experience working in the aeronautical and nuclear sector trough the consultancy field. He is a French national and holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations, focusing on Security and Defense and a Bachelor‘s Degree in Economics.
Maxime joined Business at OECD in September 2023.
