Keynote Speech
16:40 - 17:05
Panel 1 - Integrity Under Pressure: Why Strong Business Ethics Matter More Than Ever
This panel brings together experts and practitioners to take stock of recent legislative and overall trends in the integrity space, examine the forces shaping these developments, and explore the implications for governments, businesses, and civil society. How are global challenges testing corporate integrity frameworks? What is the business case for integrity in times of uncertainty?
17:05 - 17:30
Panel 2 - Talk Integrity: Turning Corporate Communication into a Compliance Asset
This panel will present the main findings of our new policy paper “Talk Integrity: How Corporate Communication Drives the Fight Against Corruption.” It will explore why communicating on integrity efforts matters for companies, how communication can reinforce compliance systems and culture, and how businesses can maximise the impact of these communication tools.
17:30 - 17:55
Panel 3 - From Systems to Culture: Making Integrity Stick Within the Companies
This panel will explore how companies move beyond policies and procedures to embed integrity into organisational culture, behaviours, and incentives. Drawing on practical experience, the discussion will examine the human and organisational factors that determine whether integrity frameworks are effective in practice. This includes the role of leadership at all levels, the importance of middle management as a transmission belt between strategy and operations, and the conditions under which employees feel empowered to speak up.
