High-Level Panel Discussion
Informality is one of the greatest structural challenges facing Latin America and the Caribbean. Our recent Business at OECD survey of private sector stakeholders in the region highlights the extent to which informality is a key barrier to investment, competitiveness and responsible business conduct among companies operating there. This session will highlight the private sector’s contribution to formalisation processes and the role played by OECD standards in facilitating the creation of formal jobs.
