Physical Activity Drives Economic Growth: The Industry That Moves the World Report Launch

On 16 September, our Executive Director Hanni Rosenbaum participated as a speaker at the launch of our Associate Expert Group, the World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI)’s new report, "The Industry That Moves the World", in Geneva, Switzerland. Joining leaders from across the sporting goods industry, she brought our Business at OECD perspective to discussions on physical activity, highlighting the importance of recognising it not only as a health issue, but also as a driver of economic growth. She also highlighted the role of the OECD in connecting the dots between different policy areas, including health, economic, education, among others, to advance this cross-cutting topic on our agenda.
