Implementing OECD AI principles: Challenges and Best Practices

Jul 5, 2022 4:12:00 PM

We are very proud to announce the launch of our Business at OECD paper on “Implementing OECD AI principles: Challenges and Best practices”. This paper is the result of the effort of the Business at OECD’s Committee on Digital Economy Policy to highlight the role of Business in the transition towards trustworthy AI technologies.

Digging deeper into the practical implementation of the OECD AI principles by companies, our paper explores, through seven different examples, companies’ efforts to effectively embed trustworthy AI within their organizations. By highlighting concrete tools, the publication showcases both the opportunities offered by AI technologies and the challenges of their implementation.

The paper also features recommendations at the attention of governments to foster a positive environment to the development and adoption of trustworthy AI. The recommendations highlight the need for a multi-stakeholder and holistic approach to AI regulation to ensure a smooth transition from principles to actual practice within the business strategy.
