On 23 June, Business at OECD hosted a side event alongside the OECD Health Committee meeting on “The Socio‑Economic Value of Self‑Care.” As part of our Stronger Together campaign, we held an exchange with our members and to contribute to the health committee plenary, to highlight new evidence on the economic and societal benefits of self‑care, including its role in prevention and productivity, among others. The event also highlighted the value of self-care as a fundamental pillar of the prevention agenda and at the core of people-centered health systems. Through a case-study presentation and interactive discussion with participants, the event provided an important platform to advance the OECD's agenda on health policy.
