On 22 October, our Executive Director Hanni Rosenbaum addressed a high-level event hosted by our member IV – The Federation of Austrian Industries in Vienna on "Supply Chains Under Pressure: Strategies for Resilience". She highlighted that global supply chains have proven resilient despite mounting geopolitical and trade pressures, with diversification rather than decoupling offering the way forward. Drawing on the OECD's recent work, she called for fewer barriers to logistics and services, trusted cross-border data flows, and closer public-private cooperation. On critical minerals, she advocated for diversified investment, greater circularity and an OECD Critical Minerals Action Plan to translate analysis into coordinated policy action.
