On 21 April, our Executive Director Hanni Rosenbaum spoke at the "National Seminar on Indonesia OECD Accession and Private Sector Implications" convened by the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs in collaboration with the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce (KADIN). Alongside high-level speakers including the Coordinating Minister of Economic Affairs for Indonesia Airlangga Hartarto, KADIN's Chairman Anindya Bakrie, and the OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann, our Executive Director underlined the critical role of the private sector to take ownership of Indonesia’s accession process to the OECD, and outlined key implications and strategic benefits for business. As the event featured a Handover Ceremony of a “Private Sector Playbook” for Indonesia’s OECD accession process, we look forward to further strengthening our engagement with KADIN in support of pro-business reform in Indonesia.
