Business at OECD was proud to be an official partner of the 2026 French Healthcare Business Forum, where we exchanged on pressing health challenges and explored innovative solutions for the future of health.
On 20 January, our Health Committee Chair and UnitedHealth Group’s Olga Mironenko Stampfer, joined the Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Healthcare, moderated by our Policy Advisor Marie Tirilly, where our Health Committee Chair Olga Mironenko Stampfer highlighted the transformative potential of AI in health systems . She also showcased our latest paper AI for Health: Empowering and Reinventing the Health Sector for the Better, which highlights the future of the health workforce with AI, AI’s Role in Transforming Healthcare, Building Trustworthy AI in Healthcare, among other topics, with key recommendations to the OECD.
On 21 January following the Forum, we hosted an official side-event roundtable on Health and Life Sciences Competitiveness with the French Healthcare Association. The roundtable convened OECD Ambassadors, senior representatives from our business network, government, and the OECD. Discussions focused on the economic case for investing in health, highlighting how strategic investments can highlighting how strategic investments can strengthen economic competitiveness by improving productivity and delivering high returns. Participants also emphasised the importance of cross-cutting policy approaches in agendas to accelerate innovation and unlock greater societal value. The roundtable reinforced a key message: health is not only a social priority, but a key driver of economic competitiveness and growth.
