Last week, delegates of our Consumer Policy Committee participated in the meetings of the OECD Committee on Consumer Policy and the Working Party on Consumer Product Safety. These sessions focused on consumer product vulnerability, consumer product safety in the green transition, and dark commercial patterns relevant to the private sector. During the sessions, participants also discussed a proposal to organise an OECD Consumer Policy meeting at Ministerial Level in late 2024, which might focus on the role of consumers in the digital and green transitions.
