Our Executive Board Member and the Chair of our Business at OECD Latin America and the Caribbean Contact Group Fernando Treviño outlined the need to put forward specific proposals in areas such as trade, digitalisation, taxation, the labour market and SMEs, with the aim of promoting regulatory frameworks that generate certainty and encourage investment.
He also stated the Latin American region must strengthen its position in this new global production landscape, taking advantage of the OECD Agenda 2026 as an opportunity to consolidate more uniform standards and more predictable environments.
